Originally from New England, my family moved to CA and eventually we retired in 2015 to North Phoenix. I've worked in mental health, addictions and the last 30 years in geriatrics. I remain a certified geriatric care manager specializing in dementia and caregiver training. I still do some consulting with home care and write. My husband is a retired engineer. We have been busy making this home our final one--very senior friendly and safe.I'm using my new found time to decorate, work on my art, do crafts and read without interruption. I like exploring the canyon surrounding my neighborhood with my dog, Chuck. I have also been busy checking out local attractions, discovering different parts of the state and finding great restaurants. I have 3 children. My daughter lives in Phoenix with her husband and my only grandson who started h.s.this year. Looking to make new friends and start new activities.
