In the middle of next January, God willing, I will be moving back to Brownwood, TX from Florence, SC, originally from MA (Yankee.) I lived in Brownwood and Early for 6 years, and stationed at Fort Hood 1971-1973. I'm retired, and enjoy volunteering (helping Veterans, women, and seniors.) Would like to volunteer at Fort Hood, Olin E. Teague Veterans' Medical Center in Temple, TX, and see about the volunteer opportunities with AARP. I'm experienced on a ranch and with heavy equipment. I'm hard working, dependable, motivated, have good work ethics and Christian values. I would enjoy helping with the maintenance of your property: general labor, painting, grass-cutting, feeding, cleaning stalls, whatever needs to be done to continue my Texas experience. I'm a US Army Veteran with an Honorable Discharge. I do not smoke, drink very rarely. I feel that my work experience, volunteer service, military discipline, and enthusiasm would be an asset as a helper. I have a clean driving record, will pass a background check/drug test.
