Gros Ventre campground. No hookups, but has restrooms with flush toilets.  Least expensive campground I know of there because there are no hookups. Of course, as pointed out, you could boondock, but only you would have to decide if you want to be that isolated. Just 'google' them and you can see what it looks like.

Beautiful area, 12 miles (20min) to Jackson Hole (it's NW, as far north as the airport --- but you're too far from airport to hear anything).

Elk used to come through the campground in early evening, and have been there when the bison herds would come through less than a mile from the campground. Good location to get to park trailheads which are all north of Jackson Hole. We stayed there for three weeks in a popup.

Just think. The world was built by the lowest bidder.

Two women friends traveling from Central Florida in June to Grand Teton NP to work. Have a 26 ft Class C MH and two little very sweet munchkin dogs. Want to spend as little as possible on RV Parks on the way so looking for members who can tell us about where to camp for free or cheap. (We do not need hookups) We are taking two weeks to get out there and even longer gettingback in the Fall. Would love to meet people and see any interesting sights near you!

@keysbabe  Hello from northern Colorado! ((waves))

Sounds like a fabulous trip!  The Tetons are beyond compare.

So that type of RV camping is known as boondocking. There are Web sites devoted to this. Here are a few links. Have a wonderful roadtrip!
