BB King Tomorrow is Another Day
Thanks for the link, @nyadrn! I gave a listen & of course gotta love the guitar-playing - it instantly put me in a good mood.
Hmmm, I didn't realize Ohio is the land of broken hearted sports. As a Gator fan, I can't honestly say I'm broken hearted about yesterday's game - disgusted is more like it.
Yup Cleveland Indians My dad and I attended zillions of games last world series 1948 we came oh so close and then heartbreak
Cleveland Browns ditto last championship in the 60's and dispite playing in 14 championship games since .. no winner many heartbreaking losses.. the drive the fumble every Cleveland fan knows what those were not to mention we lost our team when they moved to Baltimore and we had to get a new one..
The Cavaliers great team in 76 The Miracle at Richfield beat the Washington Bullets at the buzzer and lost to the Celtics in the Eastern conference finals... followed by distinction for a 26 game losing streak longest losing streak by any major American professional sports team
but then .......... VICTORY!!! LeBron James and the CAVS won the championship this year!! Good bye fumble drive etc.. hello winners. The city shut down and over a million people threw a party downtown to celebrate. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aa6pd-Ic3bs

@nyadrn Thanks for all the Ohio sports history - I hope I can manage to remember some of it! How great that you & your dad attended all those Cleveland Indians games together - makes me happy just to think about that!
Song I'm listening to: "Somewhere", from musical "West Side Story", performed by Anita Baker, on the Dave Koz CD, "At The Movies".

@gatorgorilla wrote:This evening, as I bleed orange and blue, I will gladly listen to any number of songs, but I don't want to hear "Rocky Top" or any song that mentions Tennessee! And with our long streak of wins against Tennessee broken, I don't want to hear "The Streak" either!
I don't know what this is about (sports?), but it sounds like you want some quiet time. There is a perfect song for that, but it mentions Tennessee; how ironic. For the lack of knowing what this is about, I don't know what to recommend. But just in case you can overlook that this came from a "Tennessee boy", I'd still recommend "Noise" by Kenny Chesney. This "noise" might just give you the peace (& quiet) you're looking for; how double ironic.

@dl73698250 I'm not a big Kenny Chesney fan but I did give a listen to "Noise" & I like it. Thanks for suggesting it.

@dl73698250 Thanks for your reply & perception of need for quiet.
Yes, I was referencing sports - I'm a University of Florida Gator & UF football team took a loss to Tennessee today. UF colors are orange & blue. UF had an 11 game streak of wins over Tennessee, but that's all history now. I was mostly letting off steam when I made the post, as I had watched game & heard "Rocky Top" played loudly and relentlessly!

I thought Thomas Rhett did that song. Is this a different song, or am I wrong?

I was reminded of a forgotten song from the 70's. After checking out the song "Little Red Riding Hood" by Amanda Seyfried, I started thinking about other unusual song/mood combonations. And I just have to suggest a song about a wistful longing for an elusive love that doesn't want to be reluctantly abandoned. "Young Hearts Run Free" by Candi Staton.
