nyadrn:  The song "Sentimental Journey" has always been a favorite of mine and it was a favorite of my mom's, too.  Back in the early 1990's I finally took some voice lessons & learned a bit about using my voice in song.  Then I learned the lyrics to "Sentimental Journey" & planned to surprise my mom by bursting out in song, the next time I visited her.  Mom passed on quite suddenly & I never got to sing "Sentimental Journey" to her in my "new, improved" singing voice.  But I still love the song - after all, she & I shared a love of it!
