There are many other  'B' sided songs that

became hits for other artist's.   Is there one that

your remember.  Let me know.   Thanks  :-)

I used to buy all my music on 45s. I never really listened to the B side until I heard Full Measure by the Lovin Spoonful on the other side of Nashville Cats. After that, I went back and listened to every B side I had. I don't remember many of them, but the Monkees had a lot of hits on both sides. I think Elvis' Crying In The Chapel had one on the other side. The Lettermen had Sealed With A Kiss and one I can't remember on the same record (I played both on the harmonica, but I can't for the life of me remember what it was). I wish I still had my collection so I could look them all up. I had some good ones. Special edition collectors items and rare ones. Some of the sleeves themselves were collector items. After awhile I started buying albums instead of 45s. Missed out on a lot of one-hit-wonders that way.

NOTE TO:  nyadrn

First time I remember when Donna Summer

sang this song, I thought how true that is.

I remember when my mom had to work hard

for her money.  And she used it to support

the family.   She helped bring the family to

life.  We survived.  We also became very

independent.  Thanks Mom.........

Thanks for listening,,,,again   :-)

Draggin' The Line    BY     Tommy James

Tommy once said that this was a song about

working every day, nothing mysterious about

it.  The unique thing about this song, It was a

'B' side.  The hit side was  "Church St. Soul

Revival" (1970).. Both sides were getting 'air

play', and then Draggin' the line was winning

out.. They went back to the studio and added

some horns and did a remix..Now it became

a Number 1 hit (1971).  I still have both 45's...

There are many other  'B' sided songs that

became hits for other artist's.   Is there one that

your remember.  Let me know.   Thanks  :-)
