@l483260l  The theme from "2001" is the beginning of "Also Spracht Zarathustra" by Richard Strauss. There is much more to that piece. Just like Rossini's "William Tell Overture" is better known in some circles for the portion that is the theme for "The Lone Ranger".

@I4832601 - Chuck Jones considered "What's Opera, Doc?" to be his masterpiece. It ran over budget, but Termite Terrace kept that under wraps by, ahem, "reallocating" (stealing) budget resources from other projects. I think it should have won an Oscar. But it was never even submitted. Asked why, later, a spokesman for Warner Brothers admitted they simply never considered submitting it. Oops.
