SONG TITLE WORD ASSOCIATION

Okay

This is meant to be a long running topic .  The rules are simple and there are a zillion songs out there, so lets see what we can do with this.

You start with a song title.  Let's use  Love in an Elevator - Aerosmith

You look at that title, pick out one word from it and find a new song title with that word in it,( example, In & Out of Love - Bon Jovi)  then post the new title as your post.  The next person follows.   See easy

So lets give it a try.    My title is   Love in an Elevator - Aerosmith.

I just now went back & took a look at your post, @jm91338897, of "Dress Me Up As A Robber", on 2/5/2016, at 12:18am.  Your post falls into the sequence of song titles correctly.  It doesn't appear to have been skipped.

You are suppose to take a whole word from the song. Not take a partial letters from a completely different word.

Of course you are correct, tell48.  Believe you are referring to "One Call Away", which followed "Mr. BrownStone" ?

We have had a few titles where some of us have been very challenged to come up with a new title that contains a word from the previous title.   At those times we've resorted to doing what you are saying should not be done.  And I will continue to do so, if I get really stumped!

But the post you are referring to was not one of those instances. The poster was, however, kind enough to explain how his/her post related to the previous post, & I thought that was acceptable,  though not preferable, if one is trying to follow the rules.
