That's a thing of the past, isn't it.  Now, everything you plug in shows the time.

Being able to call for the time after a power outage was helpful. I remember the number being busy too and having to call it back. Now all I have to do is ask Siri.

It's been ages!

Here it was WE 7-1212, and time was TI 6-1212.

Oh yes, I used to call that number. But before that, when I was a kid, you could call the operator and ask her what time it was.

 

Nowadays I have a weather station that controls greenhouse vents and reports back to me. I also track weather via apps.

Yes!!!  I remember the number and I just dialed it.  Now there is a commercial, first and it gives you a forecast.
