You are absolutely correct. Ever since Bill Clinton all we hear from the Anti-American Far Left Democratic Socialists (including ABC, NBC, MSNBC, CBS and others) is to be politically correct; to hate Americans who believe in what used to be the real pro-U.S. American beliefs, like believing in the Constitution, protecting America and Americans, being anti-socialist/communist. All these lying false news people only report false totally made up lies just to keep their jobs or the rich billionaires who own most of the news media (TV and Newspapers) will fire them. Of course, they hate Pres. Trump because he threatens all of this and they know that the real Americans believe in honesty, the Constitution and Making America Great Again before we become a communist failing country. To bad we can't kick all of them out of U.S. as they hate America. We don't need them at all.

I hold a degree in journalism and an advanced degree as well.  There is longer "journalism" in America today just editorializing.  The first thing that was taught years ago to a journalist was - "report just the facts" - "be impartial".  Not anymore!  AARP is even obviously partial.  I only have it to purchase a Medicare Supplement.  If I could find another good one I would be gone.

Almost like lawyers...difficult to find a good one and all most impossible to find an honest one!  Political journalism had almost ended real reporting the news.  Thank you AARP for this opportunity!  I will study the list.

Sorry - "WATSON" - I Apologize - I'm just one of those illiterate Gun Toting White Guys with No Teeth from the Backwoods of NH....................................

In my world - I think a display of - Scholarly Writing - is when I order a Vanity License Plate From The State That Reads - N O T E E T H - and then I ride around everywhere I go with it attached to my Front & Rear Bumpers of my Pickup Truck for 10 years..............................

Hee hee hee hee.  Let's see now.......NH you say.  Seems to me there's another guy from that neck of your backwoods.  Unless I disremember, he went by the name of Daniel Webster...and I haven't a 'clue' whether or not he had TEETH.  Crotchety old * *  * *, so I'm told.  Is that the way they grow 'em up there?  What he did though... that was a good thing.

So, anyway...I like Fareed Zakaria too...never miss him.  You like Charlie Rose too?

YES absolutely - I forgot to add Zacharia to my list - he is another Talking Head who has a very good understanding of the Big Picture and a good ability to describe how many things fit together in a way that I can understand

Thanks

Not many people on TV.  At least not many who didn't come from a print background.

Bill Turque in DC (Washington Post).  He reports on a lot of issues I'm involved with and he reports them accurately.   Sadly, he's leaving DC.   Smiley Sad

David Farenthold (Washington Post).

Greg Jaffe (Washington Post).

I loved Gwen Ifill.   So sad to lose her.

Judy Woodruff

Most correspondents on NPR.

Erin Cunningham (Washington Post), Arwa Damon (CNN), Ayman Mohyeldin (MSNBC now), for coverage of the middle east.

Ivan Couronne, for the Agence France Presse.  He covers US political issues.

TV.   Andrea Mitchell, Christiana Armanpour, Martha Raddatz.

Opinion Journalism:   Paul Krugman, David Brooks,  Fareed Zakaria.
