Hilarious....."spy on American citizens for partisan purposes". You probably would have preferred that the Trump campaign been allowed to keep doing it's business with a hostile foreign power unhindered, but the FBI doesn't work that way. LOL

I guess we will just have to agree to disagree. I do not consider the politicization of the FBI as "hilarious" or "LOL".

IF that were true, one would expect you to oppose the political party that has been using lies and slander to destroy the credibility of the FBI. The only reason for such action is to make the public first distrust then disrespect and finally dissolve the object of the slander.

The Republican party has used that sleazy and underhanded Nazi-approved method to attack Hillary, Teachers, Unions, the legitimate Free Press, the poor and minorities for decades.

Is it possible to really believe other people will not see what GOPers are trying to do when they turn their Propaganda Ministry and lofo base against the greatest investigative service in the World, the FBI, to prevent it from obstructing the greatest manipulator of people and facts in the World, the FSB nee KGB?  Sorry to burst your Republibubble, but people are on to the GOPerLords.

Few, very few, officials in the FBI participated in the partisan corruption - not of the entire FBI but certainly their "little corner of the world.  But you called the DOJ "corrupt"....now it's just a "very few" of a huge organization?  What a joke!  And of course you have zero evidence of ANY corruption, just a couple of texts of a few expressing their opinion.  Classic extremist.

A few, well placed officials were corrupt and used the power of the FBI to attempt to influence a Presidential election.

If you want to excuse that with "Classic extremist" you are certainly defining your place in the political spectrum.

According to Steele, those "few, well placed officials" were supporting Trump.

Now what do you think about Trump and the Republicans using the DOJ and FBI to obstruct Mueller's investigation?

Are you referring to the "Steele" who was hired to sink Trump's campaign?

1. It does not matter whether the FBI asked Hillary to swear an oath or not since if she lied to them she would be subject to perjury regardless.

And yet only Flynn has been indicted. Strange - no?

2. The FBI report was written to clearly state what they found through their investigation.

Considering that the changes were made by a guy actively planning how to insure Hillary's victory, that hardly seems accurate.

3. And no report bought and paid for by the DNC was used to secure any FISA warrant.

That's confusing, Are you saying it was not bought and paid for by the DNC and the campaign? Or are you saying that it was not used in getting the warrants?

We know rk ............... anything goes in investigating Hillary ........... but the FBI or no one else should use all avenues in their investigation of trump and his Russian connections

Well, I don't know about that "anything goes" with Hillary. After all, the FBI "interviewed" her and her staffers but not under oath. She had subpoenaed material destroyed and no charges were filed. The report on the FBI investigation was rewritten to ease the offenses she was guilty of. And, as far as I know, the FBI did not use a report bought and paid for by the RNC to secure a FISA warrant to spy on her or her staff.

Then there is the issue of Trump associates being under oath and Clinton associates not under oath. Apparently that makes a difference because Huma Abidin lied and i have not heard of any charges as yet - different from Flynn.

Apparently,  the FBI doesn't agree with your contention that Huma Abidin lied to them.

Hate to break it to the sad little GOPers clingning to the slenderest of straws to hold up their fantasies, BUT IT IS A CRIME TO LIE TO AN FBI AGENT IN AN INTERVIEW - NO "UNDER OATH" REQUIRED.

So even if Abidin was NOT under oath, had he lied, he would've committed a crime for which he would've been arrested. He didn't lie, otherwise he'd have been arrested QED. (There is ONE exception - the 5th Amendment protects you against self incrimination, so if you just deny you committed a crime when asked by the FBI, your statement does not constitute ANOTHER crime. HOWEVER if you lie about what you know about a crime that you were not directly involved in, or in events that involve another crime, your lie IS a crime)

rk would like us to agree that since its not expressly illegal for an American to speak with a Russian, then it must also be okay for the American to conspire with Russian Government agents to interfere in an American election AND commit wide spread computer fraud on behalf of Der Trumper and the GOP.

Once again your mind reading has failed - rk said no such thing.

Sorry rk, while it IS legal to talk to a Russian, when the conversation involves conspiring to rig an American election using the resources of the Russian FSB/KGB to further the ambitions of one who has already received hundreds of millions of dollars from Russian Mob, Oligarchs and Government for his personal business schemes, it stops being legal and becomes disgustingly CRIMINAL, not to mention traitorous.

You're back to the "Russian collusion" thing. If you have proof, I'd suggest you contact Mueller. Ranting about Oligarchs and "CRIMINAL" and "traitorous" accomplishes as much as the childishness about  your expert analysis of the President's mental development.

But hey, what can you expect from a gutless draftdodging preppytwit forever arrested in his mental and emotional development at age 6.

I don't think Mueller has any need for anyone posting here to provide him any information since he is doing very well on his own.

LOL, these folks who are howling about Fisa Warrants are pushing old disinformation claims that were supposed to halt the Mueller investigation.    All of which means that they feared that there was something they wanted to remain hidden in the Focus GPS interview from last August.     It appears that they were busy attempting to build a conspiracy theory against the Legal Arm of the US Government and it failed miserably, when the Focus GPS interview was made public yesterday.

What is amazing is that even after a debunking has been made public, they continue to lie and pretend that the earth is flat.   Wowzer.

Is it your point that the Fusion GPS dossier was not used in justifying the spying on Americans?

it goes to who is credible. between you and fusion..no contest.

Was that a "yes" or a "no"?

Indeed - there has never been any contest whatsoever.
