Yeesh, 63* 89% humidity and not even the A/C helped last night.

Just can't sleep in this weather. Need 😴 sleep.

Ugh, 85* humidity and dew points. Drained 3 Qts of water, mow 100 feet.

Drink more water might finish front yard. Not used to this level of closeness/humidity.

Dang it supposed to be refreshing living in Maine, no need for A/C's.

On the rez we called
the stillness caused by this kind
of heat deadly dumb.

Only sounds coming
from preds: humans and canids.
Aves and rodents hide.

It's cool in here...It's cool in here...

@DaveMcK Stay safe! Just read there are 58 mph winds outside of Chicago.

We're generating clouds, but the storms are developing once they pass us. (Still we've seen more than a few minutes of 30 mph winds.)

90s thru the week
then we’re promised 80s
until August comes.

There’s a 98
snuck in, clinging to July.
August should bring rain.

Orioles have gone;
sparrow, kingbird, towhee, finch,
wren clutches: fledged.

Young rabbits, squirrels play
in the field and on the rocks.
They learn: hawks hunt here.

Hill training today
up, down, around, repeat course.
Lung capacity.

She’ll take away breath
via views, speeding downhills and
hard working lungs.

6%, then 7
46 miles of training.
Home before the heat.

And there will be heat;
90s forecast; no t-storms.
Sweat really is magic!

We have a plant with two different colored hibiscus flowers on the same plant? One bud has bloomed and is indeed red; different from the pink/peach flowers that are also on the plant now. We get one of these every year to remind us of trip our trip to Hawaii. When we got the plant it had a lot of buds but no blossoms so we dId not know the colors and there was no tag.
