Yesterday turned out to be a wild day! I went in for my annual eye checkup and left 5 hours later after having emergency laser surgery on a retina tear in my left eye. I have a small one in my right eye that I will have done in two weeks.

Our temp will be in the low 70's and clear blue skies. We can hear the University of Wisconsin-Madison Marching band practicing at Camp Randall for their halftime performance. The UW will be playing against Northwestern in a Big Ten battle. Go Bucky Go! The Bucky WagonThe Bucky Wagon

Lovely 43* must be time to say Fall is here but, Color isn’t peak yet.

Think today is pull the A/C day, 60-75* high are doable.

Ah if it’s Fall Firewood to garage, gotta go.

Another 90 degree day today!  I will cool off on Saturday.  Lots of bug bites last night, their last hurrah.

Already dreading my physical on Monday.  I have to use Kaiser this year, I really do not like to see new doctors.  I have put off my annual check up because of that.  Now I must face the music.  On the positive side I dont think there is anything wrong with me or hubby.

Days of low clouds, rain ...
The hillside rejoices, smiles.
Sunny weekend near.

Hello all,our summer temps are finally going to leave us here in Buffalo/WNY area when a cold front comes thru  tonight. The past 3 days we've had new record highs. Sun was 90,Mon 91 yesterday was 88. Tomorrow and thru the weekend, temps will be 'normal' for this time of yr,in the 60's. The forecast for next week is back in the 70's.

I like the warm temps, its the humidity I could do without. I haven't been able to take my afternoon walks because I had no energy.I've kept my fan in my bedroom going all night. It will feel strange when the temps at night are in the 40's or 50's,windows will still be open, not having the fan on will feel strange.
