Come on in and get comfortable.  Make some friends and talk a little. You will find some very talented and interesting folk here, willing to help, and ready to talk about anything that's on your mind!

We have gamers, rockers, political pundits, and writers, just to name a few.

Take a minute and tell us about yourself.

How can we go directly to listings of the discussions from our old groups?

What's the fastest way to go to wherever the discussions are, for what used to be specific groups .. such as "TV Talk" and "Singles Perspective Revisited"?

Take a look at the message listing and check out the topics...  I found the contents of Rock n Roll!

The areas are all listed on the left had side of the Community Page.  The groups were mapped into these topics wehre appropriate.  If you are looking for something specific and need help just let us know we'd be happy to find your discussion and send you a link.

Editing My Personal Information

Nyadrn,

You can customize your AARP Community experience by clicking on the My Settings and My Preferences links located under Quick Links (right rail of community.aarp.org page).  You will see lots of options available for you to select.  I'm happy to answer any additional questions you might have after your review.

Navigating to Discussions

Astraea,

The best way to navigate to discussion is via the "DISCUSSIONS" module on the community home page (http://community.aarp.org).  It's arranged by Category, Topic, and then Posts.

Once you've navigated to the desired discussion you can click on the Options link, just under the word Community and to the right of the New Message red button. Clicking this opens additional options just for that topic or post.  Subscribe and Bookmark are two options you might want to explore.

The My Settings are hold all your subscriptions and bookmarks.  Click the Subscriptions & Notifications tab.
