Hi @rm54942194 Roderick, and welcome to the online community.

Sounds like you've got in-demand skills. May I suggest that you go to one of the many Internet job sites to find a new opportunity? Your data here (as posted) is not being sent or transmitted to potential employers, but rather to the Internet at large.

AARP does have a number of resources for job seekers. Check this out: http://www.aarp.org/aarp-foundation/our-work/income/back-to-work-50-plus/?intcmp=AE-HP-WFY3

Still, I think you'll probably fare better at, say, Indeed or CareerBuilder.

I wish you every success!

Career change and returning to the classroom for a Master's in Public Health Administration

Message 3 of 3 (119 Views)

62 y/o male recently resigned from a four (4) year job stint, and am looking for F/T employment.  Skilled in utilization management, discharge specialist, and case management (direct/administrative).  My target companies are Humana, Aetna, and United Health Group.  I look to having my resume reviewed due to its current length.  Weekly goals are contact the Kansas City Chamber of Commerce and other labor organizations in my immediate area.  I balance my day by indulging in my hobbies of collecting muscle cars (mustangs, camero, etc), and an avid movie goer.  Eventually I would like to return to the classroom and obtain a Master's in Business, with an emphasis in health care administration.  Just not sure if I'm prepared to shoulder debts and loans at my age and income.me.jpg
