I am a morning person yet I'm still going strong for the most part at midnight. I believe it is true, in my case at least, that one requires less asleep as one hits retirement age. Which makes me laugh as I seem to have to slow down and rest now - when I was working, I would have loved the feeling of having time to slow down and rest! Though now I have grandchildren who keep me on my toes. Smiley Happy

I have always been a night owl.  I hate to get up in the morning!

I am a morning person.  I am up and going very early even on weekends.  If I have a big project at my job, I do my best work in the morning.  I used to report to a manager who was at their best in the afternoon.  Drove my nuts.

Looking back, I've worked every shift known to man.  Swing, mids, you name it.  Now, for some strange reason, I could go to bed at 2am and awaken at 5, I'm definitely a morning person.  I try to hit a pool for laps 2 or 3 times a week.  I just can't go to bed until I'm literally ready to collapse.  Spend lots of time reading when there's nothing worthwhile on the tube, which is usually the case.
