Kids and cars: Heatstroke accidents

There are surely plenty of grandmas and grandpas here who, now and then, give their nieces and nephews a ride. Since 1990 over 1,050 children have died in hot cars nationwide:

Heatstroke | KidsandCars.org

And counting: last year 33 victims and this this year 16 so far (as of 8/14/23): No Heat Stroke

Being baked alive is a horrible way to go and it should never happen, but accidents happen. Preventable accidents

Are among you people who are (or would like to get) involved in solving this shameful problem?
