I agree that the question could have two answers. If both partners are in agreement to sleeping separately, it may be a solution .

However , if both are not in agreement, it might be healthy for one while the other suffers separation anxiety and rejection.

All couples are different.

For reasons that help each couple. Working hours, sleep apena, snoring, and illness. Just make sure that you communicate, love and share with each other!

I wouldn't like it but If you both wanted to sleep sepertaly for reasons like Sleep Apnea or or something like that then Okay. You both might get better sleep. But if only one of you wants to sleep alone the other might suffer feelings of rejection and isolation.

Everybody is different.

We sometimes sleep separately, say, once every 45-60 days. If one of us is tossing and turning, one of us will move to another room. This way at least one of us gets a decent rest.

I don't know about a permanent arrangement. Some RVs have twin beds. We think they'd be great if one or the other was ill, but all the time? I don't think that's for us.

There are lots of studies out that getting enough sleep is important, how do you feel about sleeping separately when married or living together?
