I have most of mine done but I do need to make a new will.  The will I had made out was when I still owned a home, my brother was still living so big changes!  It is very important to review all your directives, beneficiaries etc as you can tell from my situation!

Perhaps it would be a good idea for ER doctors to perform pallitive care - and then contact Hospice to give some help to the person and their caregiver(s).  Problem is, that is out of their normal thinking and purpose of the ER.  All the (legal) paperwork would have to be in order for them to act outside of this life saving mode.

This has been posted about endlessly.  If you are in your sixities and you have not thought about making plans for latter year care  there is an issue.   You cannot make someone else a responsible person.. hence all of the issues so many people encounter not just in their later years, but thoughout them.
