Kewl, Apple came out with a patch following day BUT, people lost the patch after updating their computers.

Gotta love all Computers.

I had a notification update for security patch installed. Don't know that it's the final fix, but at least it's something.

Yep.  They do need to get by me first, of course. Rawr! Smiley Happy

@Epster

Glad they did a fix, trouble being it’s still a semi ez hack to open anyone’s Apple/Mac with physical contact to it.😇😈.

Thanks @Frozenoem for this. They were speedy with the fix. And the good news is that this time the OS update didn't knock my security software and automagic backups for a loop, as per usual. Weeee. Smiley Happy

If you have high Sierra, anyone can log in , heckuva lot easier than terminal mode, which is a real PITA todo.

The good news is Apple has seen the proof of concept and is working on a fix.

I admit I’ve done the terminal fix for people who forgot their passwords and it was a pain , I became 😬 nervous.

Thanks @Frozenoem. I was not aware of this problem. I've had other issues since the upgrade, especially with Chrome and the function of gmail in the Apple Mail app. I've had to force quit and reboot several times.

Apple is working on a fix for a wee security issue.

Ability for anyone to log into their computer without a password.

Afraid all my links except, this one tell how to break in😇.

This should be a nice one.
